This item concerns the ongoing provision and use of electric service and public rights-of-way by Beaches Energy. Beaches Energy will continue to supply electric service with provisions for force majeure events remaining the same. The company also retains the right to build, operate, and maintain its facilities within public rights-of-way. Relocation requirements for road and infrastructure projects will not change. This item is currently under review by the City Council. The work involves the continued operation and maintenance of existing electric infrastructure within public rights-of-way, which may include future needs for utility contractors, electricians, and material suppliers.
