The Jacksonville Waterways Commission met to discuss upcoming projects and plans. Several potential local business opportunities were reviewed. A large-scale revision to the Future Land Use Map for about 300 acres between Garden St and Plummer Rd is under review, which could involve site preparation, grading, and new construction. Another planned project will include site clearing, grading, underground utility work, paving, framing, mechanical trades, and landscaping. A report on water quality and manatees for the St. Johns River was also presented.
