A new district is planned to manage public and private right-of-way areas. The City of Kissimmee will own and maintain public right-of-way tracts within the district boundaries. Private right-of-way tracts, which will be public roadways open to the public, will be owned and maintained by the District. This project is currently under review. The work will involve establishing and maintaining these right-of-way areas, which could include site preparation, grading, and paving for public roadways. Contractors specializing in civil engineering, site preparation, and road construction may find opportunities. Engaging early could provide an advantage before final plans and permits are established.
