The City of Kissimmee is considering the establishment of the Hilliard Isle Community Development District (CDD). This district will cover approximately 451 acres and is located east of Simpson Road, south of Osceola Parkway, and north of Buenaventura Boulevard. The CDD is planned to finance infrastructure and improvements for the Hilliard Isle Mixed Use Planned Unit Development. This includes the master stormwater system, onsite roads, potable water, sanitary sewer, landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, and offsite improvements. The item is currently under review, with a public hearing and first reading of the proposed ordinance scheduled. This project will involve site clearing and grading, underground utility work for water and sewer, road and driveway paving, and final landscaping and hardscape features. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the project scope and potential opportunities before final plans and bids are established.
