A waterfront office park is planned for a nine-acre site in Panama City, Florida, located next to the Hathaway Bridge and bordered by U.S. Highway 98, Sun Harbor Apartments, Sun Harbor Road, and St. Andrews Bay. The project proposes two 30,000 square foot, three-story office buildings, a 24-slip marina, and 18,000 square feet of pedestrian plaza space. It also includes a 2,500 to 5,000 square foot restaurant/lounge building with outdoor decks, a location for boat rentals and excursions, and a paved, lit pedestrian walk. The current zoning is General Commercial GC-1, which allows the proposed development. This project is currently under review. The development will likely involve site clearing and grading, underground utility work, concrete and paving for parking areas and walkways, vertical framing and structure for the office buildings and restaurant, mechanical and finish trades for all buildings, and final landscaping. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to reach out early to explore opportunities before site plans, bids, and permits are finalized.
