The City of Pensacola's Community Redevelopment Agency is beginning the planning process for the Baptist Hospital Legacy Campus redevelopment. This project involves integrating a community vision and creating a phased master plan for the campus. A Community Engagement Lead will be hired to manage public outreach and community liaison efforts, working to involve neighborhoods, residents, businesses, and stakeholders in shaping the future of the site. The project is currently in the early planning stages, with a Community Engagement Lead and a Development Feasibility Advisor being sought. This early phase will involve extensive community engagement, data analysis, and the development of redevelopment scenarios. Local businesses in fields such as community outreach, consulting, engineering, and potentially construction support services could find opportunities by engaging early in this long-term redevelopment process before specific plans and bids are finalized.
