The City of Pensacola is undertaking a significant redevelopment of the former Baptist Hospital Legacy Campus, located at 1000 W Moreno Street and surrounding areas. This project involves the demolition of existing hospital buildings, with completion expected by June 2027. Additionally, several single-story commercial and a four-story office building are being demolished under a federal grant program, which is ongoing through June 2027. Two new multifamily housing projects, Avery Place (112 units) and Kupfrian Manor (94 units), are under development adjacent to the campus. The overall redevelopment is guided by the Westside Community Redevelopment Agency Plan Update (2025). This initiative will involve extensive site clearing, grading, demolition, underground utility work, and new construction. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the project's scope and phases, as plans and permits are still being finalized, offering an advantage in securing future work.
