The City Commission has agreed to task the Transportation Advisory Board with reviewing and updating the 2010 Pedestrian and Bicycle Circulation Plan, also known as the Multi-modal circulation plan. This review is currently under consideration. The project will involve analyzing existing circulation patterns and proposing updates to enhance pedestrian and bicycle movement throughout the city. This could lead to future planning for new pathways, improved intersections, and updated signage. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in fields such as engineering, design, and construction could benefit from engaging with the Transportation Advisory Board early in this review process. Understanding the plan's direction before final proposals are made can provide a competitive advantage for future work.
