The City of Winter Park Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is reviewing a program to help commercial properties connect to the city sewer system and abandon existing septic tanks. This program is currently under review. The work will involve completing sewer connections and decommissioning septic systems. Approved applicants will work with CRA staff to schedule the work after agreements are signed and design plans are approved. This project presents an opportunity for contractors specializing in utility work, site preparation, and plumbing. Early engagement with the CRA could be beneficial as incentives are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
