The City of Winter Park Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is establishing the Catalyst Development Program (CDP) to encourage large-scale, mixed-use projects within the CRA District III corridor. This program aims to foster transformational redevelopment, boost tax increment growth, and support high-quality development that integrates residential, commercial, office, and civic uses. Projects must be new, have a minimum total development cost of $2.5 million, and require at least 1 acre of land. The program is currently under review as guidelines are being established and applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This initiative could lead to significant site clearing, grading, utility work, paving, building construction, and landscaping. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the program's requirements and potential opportunities before final site plans and permits are issued.
