The City of Winter Park's Parks & Recreation Department is beginning the process of creating a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will involve three stages: Project Initiation, Needs Assessment and Framework, and Recommendations and Implementations. GAI Consultants is leading this effort and will provide updates throughout the process. The project is currently in the early stages of planning and review. This initiative will eventually lead to site clearing and grading, potential construction, and landscaping work as specific park improvements are identified and implemented. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to stay informed about this long-term project, as opportunities for bidding on future work will arise as the plan moves through its phases.
