Indian River County is reviewing a change order for the Hobart Ballfield Project, located at the corner of 77th Street and 58th Avenue. This project involves converting an existing multipurpose field into a college-regulation baseball field, upgrading another field, and constructing a new softball/hybrid field. The work also includes lighting improvements, a scoreboard, stormwater management, a pump station, parking lot and pathway upgrades, landscaping, and a new concession/restroom building. The project is currently under review, with a change order being considered by the Board of County Commissioners. This project would involve site clearing and grading, stormwater and underground utility work, road and driveway paving, vertical framing and structure for the concession building, mechanical and finish trades, and final landscaping.
