The Indian River County MPO is reviewing its Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Fiscal Years 2027 through 2031. This program includes planned projects focused on improving transportation safety, bridge and pavement conditions, and overall system performance. Specific projects under consideration include widening of CR 510 and CR-512, intersection improvements at US 1 @ Aviation Blvd., widening of Aviation Blvd., multi-modal safety improvements on 45th St., and safety improvements at the I-95 interchange @ CR-512. The TIP also includes numerous resurfacing projects on roads like 43rd Avenue, SR 60, SR A1A, and US 1, as well as new road construction for 82nd Avenue and a new I-95 interchange at Oslo Rd. This review and planning stage means that detailed site plans, bidding processes, and permits are still being developed. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in construction, engineering, and material supply can gain an advantage by engaging early to understand the scope and timing of these planned infrastructure improvements.
