The Indian River County MPO is seeking consultants to provide general transportation planning services. This work will involve assisting MPO staff in creating studies, policy documents, and various plans. The selected consultant(s) will offer technical support, review other studies, and manage projects. Services will be assigned through approved Work Orders, with the MPO deciding which consultant handles specific tasks. The MPO plans to contract with General Planning Consultant(s) for an initial three-year period, with an option to extend for two more years. This early stage offers an opportunity for firms specializing in transportation planning, engineering, and public involvement to engage with the MPO before specific scopes of work and contracts are finalized. Early engagement can help businesses understand the MPO's needs and position themselves for potential future work.
