The Indian River County MPO is reviewing its Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Fiscal Years 2027 through 2031. This program includes planned projects focused on safety, infrastructure condition, and system performance. Specific projects mentioned include widening CR 510, widening CR-512, intersection improvements at US 1 and Aviation Blvd., widening Aviation Blvd., multi-modal safety improvements on 45th St., and safety improvements at the I-95 interchange at CR-512. The TIP also includes numerous resurfacing projects on 43rd Avenue, SR 60, SR A1A, and US 1, as well as new road construction on 82nd Avenue and a new I-95 interchange at Oslo Rd. The program is currently under review as part of the MPO's planning process. This review will set the stage for future construction, including site preparation, grading, utility work, paving, structural work, and finishing trades. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the scope and timing of these planned infrastructure improvements.
