The Indian River County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking to approve its Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Fiscal Years 2027 through 2031. This program outlines federally and state-funded transportation projects planned for the county over the next five years. The TIP includes capital and non-capital surface transportation projects, such as bicycle facilities, sidewalks, and transportation alternatives, as well as regionally significant projects. The MPO Technical Advisory Committee and Citizens Advisory Committee have reviewed the draft TIP and recommended its approval. This item is currently under review for approval. The TIP identifies projects that will require site preparation, grading, utility work, paving, and potentially construction of new facilities or upgrades.
