Lee County is planning to resurface Richmond Avenue North in Lehigh Acres. The project will cover Richmond Avenue North from Bear Street to Leeland Heights Boulevard and from Able Canal to Greenbriar Boulevard. This work involves milling, resurfacing, restriping, shoulder work, and ADA upgrades along about 10.4 lane miles. The contract is planned to be awarded to OHLA USA, Inc. for $1,495,060. Construction is expected to start in Summer 2026. This project will require site clearing and grading, underground utility work, road paving, and final landscaping.
