The City of Leesburg is considering the annexation of approximately 10.24 acres of undeveloped land located east of County Road 44 and north of Spring Court. This property is currently zoned Lake County R-1 (Rural Residential) and R-3 (Medium Residential). The proposal is to rezone the land to a City PUD (Planned Unit Development) for the creation of 23 single-family residential lots, each measuring 60' x 120', along with associated amenities. This annexation and rezoning proposal is currently under review by the City Commission. If approved, the project would involve site preparation, grading, utility installation, road and driveway construction, home building, and final landscaping.
