The Development Review Committee in Marion County met to review several upcoming local projects. Opportunities for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers may arise from a new commercial development near County Road 484 and Southwest 100th Street, the Oak Villas I site plan, and the Sumatra Estates preliminary plat. Other projects under review include the Stone Creek Del Webb Golf Course final plat, the 80th Street Tower Storage major site plan, and a commercial development near SE 145th Avenue and SE Division Street. Additionally, the committee reviewed preliminary plans for Ocala Crossings South Phase 4, a waiver for Belleview First Assembly of God, an improvement plan for SW 92nd Court Road Phase 3, and a waiver for the Driven Auto Building Addition. Conceptual and discussion items included a mixed-use development at Main Street and Oak Avenue, and another new development proposal near Main Street and Oak Avenue with 150 dwelling units.
