The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-655-26, File Number 261157, approving the award of Contract No. EVN0028376 for the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport to OTG MIA Venture, LLC. The contract covers 17 concession spaces (11 food and beverage, 6 retail) totaling approximately 19,073 square feet in the upcoming Concourse K. Projected revenue is $62,200,000 for an initial 11-year term (two years construction, nine years operations) plus one one-year renewal option. The estimated positive fiscal impact for the initial term is $55,800,000. The vendor is a joint venture of OTG Concessions Management (50%) and KFIT F&B Holdings II, LLC (50%), with principal address at 352 Park Avenue, 10th Floor, New York, NY. The RFP was issued August 5, 2025, closed November 17, 2025, with four proposals received; three were deemed non-responsive by the County Attorney's Office on December 22, 2025. Evaluation meetings were held January 9 and January 21, 2026. Negotiations ran February 27 to May 5, 2026. The Aviation and Seaport Committee forwarded with favorable recommendation on July 13, 2026, and the Board adopted on July 21, 2026. The concessionaire will provide financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management. The concession spaces are expected to be available by 2030. The Living Wage Ordinance applies. The project is located in District 6, represented by Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis, with countywide impact.
