Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing an additional three-year term with two one-year options to renew for Documentum Software License, Support, and Maintenance Services. The expenditure authority is increased by $7,346,096.00, bringing the total modified amount to $13,405,520.00 for Contract No. BW733-2/25. This contract is for the Communications, Information and Technology Department (CITD) on behalf of County departments and Constitutional Offices. The software sustains two systems: TeamSite for web content management and Documentum for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), which manages millions of documents and supports web publishing for over 30 County websites, including miamidade.gov. The contract extension is considered the most cost-effective approach to ensure uninterrupted access to licenses, support, and maintenance. The County Mayor is authorized to execute a supplemental agreement and exercise all contract provisions. The contract was originally awarded to OpenText, Inc. in 2021 for a five-year term, with the ECM procured in 2011.
