The resolution also directs the County Mayor to present an item to the Homeless Trust Board of Trustees within 30 days of the effective date recommending allocation of funding for transitional housing on the sixth floor, and to advertise a solicitation for the sixth floor within 60 days if funding is not allocated. It also directs the County Mayor to advertise a Seventh Floor RFP within 60 days of the effective date for mental health and substance use disorder outpatient treatment services. The resolution requires research, data collection, recordkeeping, oversight, biannual reviews and reports, and recommendations from the Miami-Dade County Behavioral Health Advisory Board.
