PALMETTO HOMES ADDITIONAL EXTENSION FOR 30 LOTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing an extension for Palmetto Homes Urban Development Group, Inc. to construct and sell or rent affordable housing. This extension is for three years from the adoption date of the resolution. The resolution authorizes the execution of amended and restated county deeds for previously conveyed County-owned properties. Palmetto Homes has returned 12 lots and three additional properties to the County. The developer has also committed to constructing a Puerto Rican Community Center along with multifamily housing on properties to be conveyed by Mana.
