Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) as part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants. PSI will provide professional construction materials testing services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. This is one of five such agreements being awarded. The contract has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. The services include construction material testing, asphalt and concrete testing, geotechnical exploration, soil and foundation testing, materials testing, and roof testing and consulting. The work is part of a broader modernization effort at MIA, which has an expanded capital improvement plan of $12 billion. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed to any single firm, and work will be assigned rotationally.
