Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving the issuance of revenue notes not to exceed $40,000,000.00 by the Public Finance Authority on behalf of Sky Harbour Opa Locka Airport, LLC. These funds will finance capital projects including the development of a general aviation and aircraft storage facility at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The project involves 15 hangars totaling approximately 271,000 square feet, with additional office space for aviation use and hangars for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) 'built to suit' facilities. The approval is for purposes of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code and Section 66.0304(11)(A) of the Wisconsin Statutes. No public comment was made during the hearing.
