Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners deferred a resolution authorizing the acceptance of a 1.07-acre parcel for conservation purposes. The parcel, located along Harriet Tubman Highway and SW 278 Street, is identified by Folio Numbers 30-6933-000-0680 and 30-6933-000-0700. VC Station, LLC is conveying the land to Miami-Dade County for conservation. The Recreation, Tourism, and Resiliency Committee had previously forwarded the resolution with a favorable recommendation. The County anticipates an annual fiscal impact of $5,000 to $10,000 for maintenance, to be funded by Tree Trust Funds.
