Resolution calling a countywide special election in Miami-Dade County, Florida, to be held in conjunction with the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to submit to electors the question of whether to amend the Home Rule Charter to establish a Boundary Commission for annexations and incorporations. The resolution failed at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on July 21, 2026. The Charter Review Task Force recommended the amendment by a vote of eight in favor and none against.
