The resolution was introduced on 6/26/2026, forwarded by Policy Council on 7/14/2026 with a favorable recommendation as corrected, and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on 7/21/2026. A scrivener's error was corrected on 7/9/2026 and 7/13/2026, replacing 'Resolution No. R-255-24' with 'Resolution No. R-225-24' in the first Whereas clause. The Charter Review Task Force recommended the amendment by a vote of ten in favor and zero against. The ballot question will appear as 'CHARTER AMENDMENT MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS AND TECHNICAL CHANGES'.
