AMEND R-1026-23 TO ADD CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS

Miami-Dade County Commission is considering a resolution to amend Resolution No. R-1026-23, as previously amended by Resolution No. R-635-24. The proposed amendment will add Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library, Inc., and Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, Inc., to the list of charitable organizations eligible to receive employee contributions through payroll deduction. The Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation on June 10, 2026. As of May 7, 2025, county employees had contributed a total of $6,026.50 to eligible charitable organizations through payroll deduction.
