Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-645-26 on July 21, 2026, ratifying Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. S-945 with Ric-Man International, Inc. This change order increases the contract amount by $1,662,315.17 and grants a 426-calendar day time extension for the construction of a 60-inch force main (NL-1A) (West Segment) along NW 162 Street from NW 6 Avenue to NE 8 Avenue. The project involved approximately 10,000 linear feet of 60-inch Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) and encountered issues such as utility conflicts, roadway repairs, tree mitigation, failures of existing asbestos cement pipe water mains, and differing site conditions. The total contract value increased from $19,314,785.95 to $20,977,101.12. The project is now completed. The change order was funded through WASD Revenue Bonds.
