The Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-611-26 (File Number 261253) on July 21, 2026, approving a 30-year Development Lease Agreement with one five-year renewal option between the County and CR Aviation Leasing, LLC for a 222,870 square foot parcel at Miami Executive Airport. The lease includes provisions for small business enterprise, Art in Public Places, Little Davis-Bacon Ordinance, Responsible Wages Ordinance, Residents First Training and Employment Program, and Employ Miami-Dade. The land was valued at $2,600,000.00. Construction is phased: Phase 1 includes demolition of Building 109B and site work, with completion within 18 months of execution; Phase 2 includes demolition of Buildings 109 and 109A and hangar build-out, with completion within 36 months of execution.
