The Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County adopted Resolution R-665-26 (File Number 261172) on July 21, 2026, approving the issuance of up to $100,000,000 in multifamily housing revenue debt obligations by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County. The proceeds will be loaned to Redwood CP Holdings I, LLC to finance a portion of the costs of the acquisition and construction of Claude Pepper Phase I, a multifamily housing rental project on an approximately 5.8 acre site at 1255-1525 NW 135th Street, North Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project will preserve or provide approximately 203 units of rental housing for elderly persons or families of low, moderate or middle income. The resolution was introduced on June 25, 2026, and a deferral was requested by Commissioner Bastien on July 20, 2026, but the item was adopted on July 21, 2026.
