The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-664-26 approving the issuance of up to $100,000,000 in multifamily housing revenue debt obligations by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County, Florida, for a loan to Redwood CP Holdings II, LLC, to finance a portion of the costs of the Claude Pepper Phase II multifamily housing rental project. The project is located on an approximately 5.2 acre site at 1255-1525 NW 135th Street, North Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida, and will preserve or provide approximately 255 units of rental housing for low, moderate, or middle income persons or families. The resolution was introduced on 6/25/2026, deferred at the request of Commissioner Bastien on 7/20/2026, and adopted on 7/21/2026. A public hearing was held on 6/17/2026, which disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Series 2026 Bonds are expected to be issued by October of 2026.
