Miami-Dade County Commission adopted a resolution approving the issuance of multifamily housing revenue debt obligations by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County. The debt, not to exceed $32,680,000.00, will be loaned to Colony Lakes Housing, L.P. to finance a portion of the acquisition and rehabilitation costs for the multifamily housing rental project known as Colony Lakes. The project is located on approximately 15 acres and will preserve or provide approximately 220 units of rental housing for low, moderate, or middle-income individuals and families. The Housing Finance Authority held a public hearing on June 17, 2026, which disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Board of County Commissioners concurred with the Authority's findings. The Series 2026 Bonds are expected to be issued by September 2026.
