Miami-Dade County Commission adopted a resolution approving the issuance of multifamily housing revenue debt obligations by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County, not to exceed $20,000,000.00. The proceeds will be loaned to Liberty Renaissance Apartments LLC to finance a portion of the costs for the development of a new multifamily rental housing project, Liberty Renaissance, which will preserve or provide approximately 98 units for elderly persons or families of low, moderate, or middle income. The project is located on an approximately 1.91 acre site. The Housing Finance Authority previously approved the issuance in multiple resolutions dating back to September 20, 2021, with the latest amendment on May 18, 2026. A public hearing was held on June 17, 2026, and disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Bonds are expected to be issued by October 2026.
