Resolution approving a contract between Miami-Dade County and HDR Engineering, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services at Miami International Airport, Contract No. E25AV01A, in a combined maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. The contract is part of a pool of five architectural and engineering consultants. The resolution was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on 7/21/2026. The scope includes routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, commissioning, quality assurance, progress reporting, and performance documentation for Capital Improvement Program projects. The work will be assigned by MDAD on a rotational basis with no minimum amount of work committed. The contract includes a 10 percent contingency and an Office of Inspector General fee.
