Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-653-26 (Legislative Item File Number 260889) on July 21, 2026, authorizing a five-year extension with $184,000,000 in additional expenditure authority for Prequalification Pool No. FB-01645P, Rail/Mover Parts and Services, for the Department of Transportation and Public Works. The pool requirements are not anticipated to change. Outreach efforts were conducted to identify additional qualified vendors. The extension will allow existing prequalified vendors to remain in the pool provided they continue to meet requirements. The pool will remain open for new vendors. The two percent User Access Program applies where permitted by funding source.
