Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-653-26 (File Number 260889) on 7/21/2026, authorizing a five-year extension with $184,000,000 in additional expenditure authority for Prequalification Pool No. FB-01645P, Rail/Mover Parts and Services, for the Department of Transportation and Public Works. The pool is open to new vendors. The requested expenditure authority is based on historical usage and anticipated activity. The funding source is DTPW Operating / Federal Funds, FY 2025-26 Adopted Budget, Volume 2, Page 132, Other Operating. The Negotiator is Saba Musleh of the Strategic Procurement Department. Due diligence was conducted on all prequalified vendors with no adverse findings. The two percent User Access Program applies where permitted by funding source. Small Business Enterprise measures and Local Preference will apply at time of spot market competition where permitted by funding source. The Living Wage Ordinance does not apply.
