Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering an ordinance to approve, adopt, and ratify non-ad valorem assessment rolls, rates, and assessments for Solid Waste Collection Services for Fiscal Year 2026-27, commencing October 1, 2026. The proposed ordinance maintains existing assessment rates, with no increase from Fiscal Year 2025-26. The typical full-service residential household assessment will remain $702 annually. This action is required to authorize the Department of Solid Waste Management to continue collecting these assessments through the annual property tax bill.
