Miami-Dade County is approving an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) for the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact. This agreement involves Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties. Miami-Dade County will contribute $285,000 over three fiscal years (2027-2029) for services provided by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC). Broward County will manage and supervise the ISC on behalf of the four counties. The agreement continues a partnership established through previous resolutions since 2016. The Recreation, Tourism, and Resiliency Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation.
