Miami-Dade County Commission is presented with supplemental information regarding a proposed land exchange. The county would convey a 3.889-acre tract of county-owned land, bounded by SW 26 Street, SW 28 Street, SW 173 Avenue, and SW 172 Court, to the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). In exchange, SFWMD will convey five fee simple parcels, totaling 1.318 acres, to Miami-Dade County. These parcels are identified as Parcels 2, 5, 7, 8, and 11 and are required for county roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. The exchange is pursuant to Section 125.37, Florida Statutes, and involves parcels identified in Resolution Nos. R-955-20, R-978-20, R-980-20, R-981-20, and R-984-20. The county property is of equal value to the SFWMD parcels.
