Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering supplemental information regarding a land exchange agreement between Miami-Dade County and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). The agreement involves the conveyance of five fee simple parcels owned by SFWMD, totaling 1.318 acres, to the County. These parcels are required for county roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. In exchange, the County will convey a 3.889-acre tract of county-owned land to SFWMD.
