Miami-Dade County is considering an exchange agreement with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) for land parcels related to roadway improvements. The county would convey a 3.889-acre tract bounded by SW 26 Street, SW 28 Street, SW 173 Avenue, and SW 172 Court to SFWMD. In exchange, SFWMD would convey five fee simple parcels, totaling 1.318 acres, identified as Parcels 2, 5, 7, 8, and 11, to the county for use in roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. The agreement is for land of equal value.
