Miami-Dade County is seeking approval for a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Trip and Equipment Grant Agreement with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (FCTD). The grant amount is up to $8,000,000.00, with a required 10 percent local matching fund of $888,889.00. The total project cost is not to exceed $8,888,889.00. The funds will be used by the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) to provide pre-loaded EASY Cards/Tickets for transportation disadvantaged recipients, supporting services such as one trip, daily, weekly, monthly, or annual passes. This program has been funded annually since 1990, with Miami-Dade County receiving funds since its inception. The agreement is for Fiscal Year 2026-27, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The scope is countywide.
