Miami-Dade County Commission is considering the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 Unincorporated Municipal Service Area (UMSA) operating millage rate. The proposed rate is 1.9090 mills, which is a flat rate recommended in the FY 2026-27 Proposed Budget. This rate is intended to provide essential relief to residents and maintain core services without increasing costs. The millage rate is expected to generate $260.965 million in ad valorem revenue for UMSA operations. The Board of County Commissioners is asked to approve this rate for transmittal to the Property Appraiser.
