Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 Unincorporated Municipal Service Area (UMSA) operating millage rate. The proposed rate is 1.9090 mills, which is recommended to remain flat to provide essential relief to residents and maintain core services without increasing costs. This rate is expected to generate $260.965 million in ad valorem revenue for UMSA operations. The Board desires to accomplish the purposes outlined in the accompanying memorandum from the County Mayor. The resolution approves the proposed millage rate for transmittal to the Property Appraiser for inclusion in the "Notice of Proposed Property Taxes" to be mailed in August.
