The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-629-26, granting a non-exclusive underground utility easement to Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) for installation of underground facilities within Zoo Miami in support of the Zoo Miami Hospital. The easement is for a 15-foot by 15-foot area, in exchange for $10.00, with no fiscal impact to the County. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute the easement and record it within 30 days of execution. The Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee forwarded it with a favorable recommendation on June 10, 2026, and the Board adopted it on July 21, 2026.
