MOU WITH FDOT FOR COUNTER SYSTEMS ON COUNTY OWNED TRAILS

Resolution to retroactively ratify a Memorandum of Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the Florida Department of Transportation for installation and maintenance of two counter systems on County-owned trails within the Florida Shared-Use Nonmotorized (SUN) Trail Network. The first site is on the Atlantic Greenway Trail within Haulover Park at 10800 Collins Avenue, operated by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, in Commission District 4. The second site is on South Dade Trail at West Palm Drive, Florida City, Florida, operated by Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works, in Commission District 9. The MOA term is September 24, 2025 to September 23, 2026. FDOT installed and will maintain and fund the counter systems. County role is limited to approving installation locations and coordinating scheduling. No fiscal impact to the County.
