OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners resolution approving an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for local roadway improvements on SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road, including work on NW 74th Street Connector and NW 72nd Avenue. The project is estimated to cost $5,900,000, funded and built by FDOT, with an anticipated construction start date of March 2027. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation on 7/14/2026. The BCC agenda date is 9/1/2026. The County is required to provide maintenance operations within the County's right-of-way upon completion. Improvements include curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, traffic separator, loops, and signage. The project is in Districts 6 and 12. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute the agreement.
