Resolution approving an amendment to the FY 2026-30 Five-Year Implementation Plan of the People's Transportation Plan (PTP) to retroactively include the purchase of fifteen (15) 40-foot diesel and compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for the I-95 Phase I and II project (CIP145), funded in part by Charter County Transportation Surtax Funds. The buses previously served routes 195/295 and 196/296, connecting Broward Boulevard and Sheridan Street to Downtown Miami and the Civic Center. The project cost is $3,896,702. The buses were purchased with FDOT grant funds and placed into service in January 2017; routes were discontinued in March 2020; FDOT requested reimbursement on September 9, 2024; DTPW issued reimbursement on January 12, 2026.
